Build My Own Shed
I’m going to build my own shed in the near future, hopefully within the next year. I’ve looked around at the many different options – purchasing a shed kit, buying a readymade, having someone do it for me – and it seems like the most economical, and the method that will get me the shed that I really want, is to do it myself.
This project isn’t nearly as difficult as you might think, particularly if you have the right set of instructions and the right teacher to guide you. I was able to locate these Shed Plans and Woodworking Blueprints and it seems as though these instructions can make the project quite manageable. Take a look for yourself – there’s actually a 9 minute video on this site of 2 guys putting together a shed. Granted, I won’t be able to go quite that fast when I build my own, but all of the things that they’re doing are things that I can do.
Photo courtesy of ShedkingBetter yet, the instructions are for beginners and woodworking enthusiasts!! Great! I think what sold me so quickly on this item, though, was the thousands of other project instructions that come along with the purchase. I’ve always wanted to make my own Adirondack chairs, or other patio furniture, and the Shed Plans and Woodworking Blueprints instruction manual comes with instructions for those and a whole host of other items. Take a look for yourself!
